Born and raised in the Triad of North Carolina, Pam took dance lessons when she was young. It was in high school where she began singing as a member of the school's show choir. Her first band was Impact, which became Roc Kandy, a well known band that performed regularly throughout the Carolina's, VA, and Tenn. After all the Kandy was eaten, Pam landed in Sound Express, where she met Faron Dawson. Faron and Pam formed UBU in the early 90's, where they have been peforming together ever since. Described as stress relief, Pam loves performing, and has no intentions of stopping any time soon.
Caroline has been in the music industry since the the age of 5. She grew up traveling the East Coast singing gospel music with the Singing Osbornes. Over the years, she broadened her spectrum of music to include many music genres including Pop, Beach, and Adult Contemporary, when in the late 90's allowed her to be able to join UBU. She is now on here second stretch with the band full time, and enjoys meeting new people while performing and traveling with the band.
Jenni has been entertaining and thrilling audiences for years. She started performing with her dad and on her own in Spanish and English at a young age. Jenni also plays several instruments. She sang with .U.B.U. for 4 years and left for a while to become a mom. She has been back for 3 years and looking forward to lots of upcoming shows.
Founder and Band Leader, Faron began performing live on stage at the age of 3. A native of Virginia, Faron toured the US for 13 years performing in 33 states and playing as many as 300+ shows a year as a full time musician. Playing guitar, keyboards, and providing vocals as well, Faron is the machine that makes the music of UBU.
Dre' is an alto saxophonist with experience playing a variety of styles and genres. He attended NC A&T University under the instruction of Mondre Moffett, and under the private instruction of Chad Eby, where he studied straight ahead and be bop jazz. When not playing with UBU, Dre' plays at his Church, in the NC A&T Jazz Ensemble, as well as the University Jazz All Stars. Dre' is a powerful saxophonist with a sound all his own.
Scott has been playing drums since the age of 18 months when his mother has him banging pots and pans. He moved to a drum set at age 3 and busted the heads that morning. The "real" set came the next week. Scott played in the school band and local rock bands in and around Asheboro. Soon after attending ECU, he joined UBU. Scott relocated to Charlotte, where he played local jazz and rock clubs as the founding member of the jazz-fusion group Actual Proof that produced 2 CD's. Scott is back on the road again with UBU, after a 20 yr. hiatus, and is having the time of his life!
You! Commonly known amunst the band as the 7th Member. It is not uncommon to see audience members on stage singing, dancing, and having fun partying with the band. UBU allows "you" to "be you". It is all about just having fun, singing and dancing to the great songs that we all know and love.
